Accessibility Statement
Pursuant to the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG)
PACE Mobility GmbH is committed to making the website pace.cloud accessible in accordance with the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. This statement describes the current conformance status and known limitations.
Conformance Status
This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Most content is accessible. Individual areas are currently being revised.
Implemented Measures
- Keyboard operation for all interactive elements
- Color contrasts per WCAG AA (≥ 4.5:1 for body text)
- ARIA markup for screen readers (navigation, forms, dialogs)
- Alt text for all informative images
- Consistent skip navigation and focus styles
Accessibility menu in the header
Use the icon with the stylised person pictogram in the top right of the navigation bar to open a menu where you can adapt the display to your needs. All settings are stored locally in your browser (no server transmission) and are automatically reapplied on your next visit:
- Reduce motion: Disables all animations including the subtle particle animation in the hero area, pulsating buttons, the logo scrolling bar and glow effects. If you have enabled „Reduce motion" (macOS) or turned off „Show animations in Windows" (Windows) at OS level, this option is enabled automatically.
- Stronger contrast: Boosts contrast beyond the WCAG AA requirement. Secondary text and borders become more pronounced, focus outlines become thicker (3 instead of 2 pixels). Respects the system preference „Increase contrast".
- Font size: Scales all body text to Default, Medium (+10 %) or Large (+19 %). The layout adapts. Browser zoom (Ctrl/Cmd + „+") can be used additionally for further enlargement.
Assessment method
The conformance assessment of this website was carried out as a self-assessment by PACE Mobility GmbH. Tools used: Lighthouse audits (Accessibility score ≥ 95), manual keyboard navigation, manual screen reader tests (VoiceOver, NVDA), contrast checks using the WCAG contrast algorithm. No external certification has been performed.
Known Limitations
We are currently working on the following points:
- Full subtitling of all video content (where present)
- Optimisation of tables for screen readers
- Pixel-zoom testing at 400% across all page types
